Who is Mrs. Adams?

 
 
Mrs. Adams is extremely excited about beginning her 28th year teaching first grade at Mazie Gable Elementary School. This year she welcomes 20 students to learn and grow. Mrs. Adams uses the Seesaw App to keep families up to date with things that are happening in their first graders' classroom and what they are learning. She also implements Class DoJo to share behaviors daily with families.
 
Mrs. Adams went to Red Lion Elementary Schools (Edgar Moore & Mazie Gable) and graduated from Dallastown Area School District in 1991. She graduated from York College of Pennsylvania in 1995 with her Elementary Education Degree and Early Childhood Certificate and Millersville University in 1999 with her Master's Degree in Education. She continues to take classes to keep current with the best practices for her first graders.
 
Mrs. Adams is married and has 2 wonderful children of her own. Haley is married and attending college while working at Wellspan Surgical and Blake is 18 and in 12th grade. Mrs. Adams welcomed her first granddaughter, Aurora to the world on May 26, 2022, and is expecting her grandson in October 2023.  She has 1 dog, Remi, 3 cats, and a leopard gecko. She sings in a praise band and loves to do crafts and gardening. Mrs. Adams enjoys 4-wheeling, kayaking, jet-skiing, and camping. The beach is her favorite place to visit. Mrs. Adams also has 3 brothers.
