Mr. Daniel Longnecker

Mr. Longnecker attended Red Lion Area Senior High School, graduating in 2014. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education PK-8 from West Chester University in 2018. Mr. Longnecker spent his first year teaching in the 2018/2019 school year in the Manheim Township School District as a 6th grade learning support teacher. Since then Mr. Longnecker has taught third grade for 2 years in the Red Lion Area School District. Now Mr. Longnecker will be teaching his third year of 4th grade specializing in math. Mr. Longnecker has a special connection to Mazie Gable Elementary School as this is where he attended once as a student. During the fall and early winter Mr. Longnecker has spent his time coaching the Red Lion Junior High and Freshman Boys Basketball team for the past 4 years. 
 
Mr. Longnecker enjoys all things nature related. Some of these things include hunting, hiking, kayaking, and swimming. A goal of his is to visit all of the national parks in United States. In his free time he enjoys working out, playing or watching sports, and spending time with family and friends. He is a huge basketball fan and loves the Duke Blue Devils men's basketball program.
