Welcome to 6th Grade!

Hello! My name is Mrs. Pomraning. I am a 6th grade Reading, Writing, and Social Studies teacher at Mazie Gable. I absolutely love to see children grow throughout the school year. Students are always encouraged to smile and believe in themselves. 

 

Here is a little information about me. I am a 2003 Red Lion graduate! After graduation I went to York College of Pennsylvania, where I earned my Bachelors degree in elementary education. I graduated from the University of Scranton with my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am eager to help the children at Mazie Gable learn to love reading! I have spent many years teaching urban education but I am beyond excited to be here at Red Lion!

 

When I am not at Mazie Gable, you may see me around the community. I have two children in the district who are very active in sports. As a family we love to go to the beach and go camping. We love to explore and create memories. 

 

6th grade is going to be great!
