Principal
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at Mazie Gable Elementary! Mrs. Brunetto is excited to begin her second year as principal of Mazie Gable! The MG staff works hard to provide an exemplary instructional program, and the focus is student success and meeting the needs of the whole child. The MG team strives for students to experience a well-rounded program that helps them harness their uniqueness and strengths in a safe, supportive environment.
Mrs. Brunetto began her career in education as a teacher in a private school in Lancaster County. She eventually transitioned into the elementary setting for four years as an extended day kindergarten teacher. Mrs. Brunetto joined the Red Lion family in 2014 and loved working as a first grade teacher at Windsor Manor Elementary and from there she came to MG as the 4th grade reading teacher. After some time in 4th grade, she had the fantastic opportunity to become the assistant principal at the Junior High. It was there that she learned more about educational administration and building management, and was honored to be offered the position as principal of Mazie Gable Elementary School. She has a Master's degree in Education as well as a Reading Specialist certification and an Educational Leadership certification.
Mrs. Brunetto lives in Lancaster County. She and her husband have been married 29 years and have three daughters, one son-in-law, a grand "pup" named Molly and a Bernese Mountain dog named Bear. When she is not at Mazie Gable, she is spending time with her family.
