Mrs. Trinda Gulley will be providing learning support services for the 2020-2021 school year. After graduating from the Pennsylvania State University she began teaching learning support with the Lincoln Intermediate Unit No. 12. She married Timothy J. Gulley, from Monaca, PA and had two children, Sarah and Timothy David. She did her Master's work at Millersville University. After a few years at home with her children, she moved to the Red Lion Area School District to teach elementary learning support for several years. She moved to an Instructional Support Teacher position, then moved to gifted support and finally returned to the LS classroom in 2014 at Mazie Gable Elementary. This is her twenty-fifth year in education!
Mrs. Gulley lives in Red Lion with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. Mrs. Gulley's daughter works from home and her son-in-law works for the LIU #13. Her oldest grandchild starts kindergarten this year! Mrs. Gulley's son teaches Kindergarten and lives in Maryland with his wife, a Nurse Practitioner. She enjoys playing with her grandchildren, watching the Pittsburgh Penguins, Penn State Sports, and visiting the beach (ANY beach). Her favorite quote is from Dr. Seuss, "A person's a person no matter how small." Her favorite color is red and favorite food is chocolate.
Mrs. Gulley's educational philosophy is to promote self advocacy and assist students to be best that they can be, both academically, socially, and emotionally while creating a growth mindset to encourage never-ending learning!
