MG School Counselor
Mrs. Angela Godfrey is the Elementary School Counselor at Mazie Gable Elementary. This is Mrs. Godfrey's 25th year within the district. She attended Lebanon Valley College where she received her Bachelor of Science. She received her Master of Education from Millersville University. As the school counselor, Mrs. Godfrey works with students individually, within small groups, and during whole classroom lessons. Topics discussed in lessons throughout the year include conflict resolution, coping skills, friendship skills, self-esteem, and career. Small group topics may include social skills, grief and loss, stress and anxiety, and anger management. Parents, students, and teachers may refer concerns to Mrs. Godfrey as needed.
Mrs. Godfrey is the coach for the building's Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports or PBIS team. This team is comprised of the building principal, teachers, and support staff. We create positive ways to implement a welcoming and positive atmosphere as well as a supportive culture within the building.
Mrs. Godfrey is married with 2 daughters. She enjoys reading, scrapbooking and spending time with her family. Mrs. Godfrey is looking forward to another great year at MG!
