Bio

Mrs. Ashley Shay is a gifted education teacher for the elementary buildings within the Red Lion Area School District. She has been with the district for nine years after coming from Northern Lebanon School District, where she served as a middle-level mathematics teacher. She graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a Middle-Level Mathematics certification in 2005. She received her Master’s Degree in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University in 2010 and her certification in Gifted Education in 2022. 

She lives in the district with her husband and three children (Riley, 9, Finnegan, 7, and Ainsley, 5). She enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, going to football games, reading, watching television and baking.
